Video “Big Ribbon Mic Session at Maarwegstudio2”
Documentary of a recording session at Maarweg Studio 2 in Cologne on May 30, 2011.
We recorded an acoustic version of our new song “Watch You Sleep” using almost exclusively AEA ribbon microphones.
The session was engineered by German producer/engineer Wolfgang Stach who is known for his work with BAP, Guano Apes, Such A Surge, Jupiter Jones, and many other German artists. The song was mixed by Julian David at Hemispheres Recording in Los Angeles. Alex Kloss was responsible for the mastering at Time Tools in Hannover.
